Compassion Informed Care
Many children and teens today face life challenges like anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, and difficult life transitions. They might feel lost, worried, or unsure of how to express what they’re going through. These challenges can leave them feeling isolated, misunderstood, or reluctant to open up, leaving both them and their families in need of compassionate, understanding support.
I offer children and teens a safe, non-judgmental space where they can explore and and express their difficult feelings. Using a collaborative, client-centered approach, I draw on proven therapies like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, somatic techniques, play, and sand tray therapy to meet each child’s unique needs.
I believe in building authentic, trusting relationships that allow kids and teens to feel safe enough to share what’s on their minds. My approach is rooted in patience, humor, and a deep respect for each child’s individuality. I am passionate about partnering closely with caregivers to create lasting, positive change, and I find joy in seeing children gain confidence and resilience as they navigate life’s challenges.
